To Our Guests: Thank you for worshipping with us today. We hope you experience God's love and presence with us. Our service begins with singing worship songs to God that may not be familiar to you. Feel free to stand or sit and participate in a manner in which you feel comfortable. We encourage sincere, God-focused worship that engages our mind, body, & emotions. We'd appreciate you taking a moment to fill out a Welcome Lighthouse Connection Card (located in the pew & chair holders). Feel free to add any comments or prayer requests on the back side and place it in the offering bag or give it to a greeter or usher.
Sunday School: We have classes for ages two years through adult. We also have a nursery for those under 2 years of age, while their parents are attending an adult class. Sunday School is a time to both study God's Word in a group setting and build loving relationships. We are grateful for our excellent Sunday School staff.
Children's Ministry: Ministry for children is available each Sunday of the month. Today Children's Church is available for all children ages 4 years old - 3rd grade. They will be dismissed to the Children's Church Room after the offering is taken. Next week we will have Children's Music for children in grades 1 - 7.
Nursery Care & Children in Worship: We highly value children! Children's ministries take place at Sunday School and during our Worship service. Children of all ages are encouraged to be in the singing portion of our service, although the Infant Nursery is available for those under 2 years for the whole service. During the sermon, the Infant Nursery is for children under two years old, and the Preschool Nursery is for children who are two years through those who have not yet begun Kindergarten. Please keep your children with you and out of the nurseries if they show any signs of illness. A Nursing/Cry Room is also available at the back of the sanctuary.
Nursery Schedule: Today Chad and Leah Fitzpatrick serve in the Preschool Nursery and Sarah Ingram and Greg Gephart serve in the Infant Nursery. Next Sunday Richard Winkel and Carrie Siemen serve in the Preschool Nursery and Sandra van Vliet and Annemarie Eggink serve in the Infant Nursery. Thanks to all who serve our little children!

Thanks to all who helped at yesterday's "Serve Day" and to all who gave Harvest Festival groceries in support of pastors within our Thumb section.
Today we celebrate the faith in Christ of those who will be baptized in water. As a church family, let us encourage and support the faith of Bridgett Dahlke, Wilke Eggink, Jennifer Friday, Jim Henderson, Steve & Debbie Schubring, and Jeremy Terbrack, who will be baptized this morning.
Please stay for our Thanksgiving Potluck that will take place following our morning service in the gym to the east of the foyer lobby. Thank you to Ed & Ann Sams for their service in organizing this potluck.

Community Thanksgiving Service: This annual community worship service will take place next Sunday, November 22, at the Harbor Beach United Methodist Church on the corner of South First and Trescott streets. It begins earlier this year - at 5:00 p.m.
Membership opportunities: Anyone with possible interest in becoming a member of our church and who has not taken part in a membership class, please contact Pastor Dennis about membership class opportunities or with any questions you may have.

Prayer Response at the Altar: After every service, we encourage anyone who wants to respond to God's Word & Spirit to come to the altar area in front of the sanctuary platform. We'd be happy to pray with you or you can pray on your own.

We will again have poinsettias in the sanctuary during the advent Christmas season that will be placed in memory of loved ones. We will have a sign-up sheet beginning next Sunday that you can write down the name(s) of those you'd like to remember and honor with a poinsettia. Please donate $10 for each poinsettia plant.
Please check our Lost & Found (the coat rack area at the west end of the foyer) and take home items that belong to you. Several clothing items are hanging there, in addition to items on the shelf.
Ministry Opportunity: We have received many requests for copies of our Sunday morning services. We would like to accommodate these requests. If you are willing to learn to record, edit, & burn our services onto CDs, please contact Cathy Bowen (cbowen73@yahoo.com or 479-9146).
Care Ministry - Please refer to the list of Care Ministry contact people if you have or know of needs. There are extra copies in a wall pocket above the information table in the foyer. Please use these ministries so that we can serve one another in love.
Please save your returnable bottles and cans over the holidays to help send children & teens to camp next summer. Place them in the designated box at the east end of the foyer. We will be collecting all winter to help campers pay their way to a Christian camp next summer.
